Basic Steps To receive from God

And all things, ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (Matt 21:22)

In our discussion this today God is giving us a promise to draw from his limitless supply. This is a great blessing for all that named the name of the lord. It amazes me how great are the resources of God that are available to god’s children, yet very little of them are utilized or taken advantage of by His children.

And all things, says let the lord. Let us consider this phrase. It is only God that can give this promise because it is an open check. All the things that you can imagine or think about, the extent are limited by you.
I want to challenge you at this moment to open your inner mind. Try to challenge yourself to reasoning. Think big and expand you imagination, consider all that you can think to ask and request from God.

The main reason why you cheat yourself of God blessing is your inability to imagine how great God is. Many imagine God relative to their ability or capacity.  It is very easy for them to feel that if they should ask this it may be too much for God. But nay you should be able to see God in His greatness as you’re presenting   your request to him.

If you can see how great God is it won’t be difficult for you to bring your entire request to him. No matter how difficult is all your challenge or problem he is more than them and he can solve them. So take him at his word bring all what you want to him because he promise to grant you the request.

How do you bring the entire request, you bring them in prayer. How do you bring them in prayer, by asking Him in prayer. We are told in the scripture that with thanks giving we should bring our entire request to him prayer.

The most important thing to consider in the promise is to believe. To believe is to have the assurance that your request will be granted and that God is able to do it. This is where you can fatally fail to achieve your aim is you fail to believe him even though you are praying.

You should come to him boldly believing that he will do it. Failure to do this means you are just wasting your time. That is why it is possible for you to spend so much time in prayer yet little result. That is why you can profess to be praying to God on some issues and yet you are running from pillar to post proffering your own solution because you are not sure that God will do it.

Once you commit the issue to God and believing in Him surely He will answer your request. The last statement in the promise is that you will receive your request. By God’s grace your lot as a child of God is peace in you heart and life at all time.

In this single verse which is the eternal word of God, we can see that the basic steps to receive from God are outlined. To start with is the assurance that your entire request that you bring to God in prayer with powering engine of belief will surely be answered. May God bless you.
