Assurance of Divine Direction

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:6)

 One of the major things that every individual needs to be successful is to get the divine direction on how to go about his or her life.

Assurance of the right way to go at every point in life is what is necessary to avoid the dangerous places as we go along the pathway of life. It will keep us in the pathway of eternal life that will keep us from the attack ogf the devil.

The wisest man that had ever lived had the advice for us in the third chapter of proverbs about what to do to have this benefit in our life.

He advised that we should acknowledged Him in all our ways. What does it mean to acknowledge him in all ways. That means we have to bring all our way to him. God must be involved in our thought, in our activity, in our way of life and in all things that we do.

We have to commit our ways to him. In the depth of our heart of hearts we must admit we need his guidance and direction. We must admit that without his guidance we cannot do it all alone.

With this deep belief in our hearth the promise is that He will direct our path. Do you want God to direct your ways/ if yes turn over your life to him, you will be surprised at how he will take over the challenges of your life.

The lord will not fail to lead you all the days of your life to avoid the pitfalls and traps of the evil one. As we go along the pathway of our Christian life. May God help us to trust him so much that we will be able to hand over our life to him so that He will ever direct our steps.

The Essence Of Having Faith In God

He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

It is true that you would want to be filled with the power of God as a Christian. This is the exact interest of God because it sure that without the power of God in your life it will be very difficult to make success of your journey to heaven.

Glory be to God because he can do all things. The Holy Scripture is full of all the miracles that were done in the bible. The lame were made to walk, the blind were made to see. Sinners were delivered from the grip of sin and granted the lease of life.

Jesus is telling you today that all the record in the bible is a child’s play if only you can believe in him. Why is it so because he is going back to the father in heaven.  When he was here that he accomplished so much he was in flesh like me and you but now he is back to his natural heavenly position.

This is one of the passages in the scripture that had posed great challenge to professed Christians. Because of unbelief they could not believe that God can grant them the enabling to do greater works than Jesus. May God increase our faith. If it is difficult for you to believe that you can become the son of God with all attributes of God. How much more difficult to believe that you will the works that are greater than what Jesus had done.

Remember that the word of God cannot be abridged, whatsoever he says stands sure and unchangeable for ever. Heaven and the earth will pass away but the little jot of his word will never go unfulfilled. The challenge now is to believe him and lets see if we will not accomplish more works than he had done.

Devil would rather make you to feel unworthy of this promise of God. He would rather make you to feel that it is an act of pride to appropriate this promise, but it is the lie of devil. The word says that if only you can believe in Jesus. May God grant you that eternal faith to believe in him.

The promise once again is that ‘the works that I do shall he do also’ this first part is great. It is enough to do the works that Jesus did. It is worthy ambition that if achieved, you could be described as being successful christian. Glory be to God.

More that that is the second part of the promise which is this ‘greater [works] than these shall he do’ glory be to God. This is a point for me and you to consider. Why are we achieving so little in our personal, secular and spiritual life. We must do heart searching at this point. May God remove all the spiritual leakages in our spiritual life.

The verse said that if you believe in him. May God increase our faith so that we can achieve what God had promised us in our life. So that we will be able to take all the bounty supplies that God has in stock for us. God bless you.
